Gut loving keffir banana and berry smoothie

We all know how fab a smoothie is for when we’re on the go, so here’s a great gut friendly smoothie option that your tastebuds will love too!

Kefir is a milk drink that has been fermented and is a great source of probiotics, which you know we love just as much as your gut will. Probiotics will feed and support your healthy prebiotics in your gut which leads to better gut health, improved immunity and better poops.

TIP-Using frozen berries will help to thicken your smoothie and frozen berries are available all year around. Choose organic if you can.

Ok, here’s what you need

(makes 2 yummy smoothies)

1 Banana
350mls Kefir (find it in the fridge section or make your own)
30g almonds (roughly ¼ cup)
75 g frozen mixed berries
1 tbspn honey or pure maple syrup

Let’s make this

Ok, it’s a smoothie so you know what to do. Pop it all in a blender and blitz baby. Pour into two glasses and serve. Cheers!
